The Story: "Playing offense was cool. But I love being on defense because, every single play, I get to create my own destiny," Watt says. "I get to decide how each play ends for me."

My Role: I secured access for an interview and wrote the story. I also cultivated a relationship with Texans PR that led to access to Watt for a cover photo shoot two years later.
