My Role: I co-edited this tour de force story, with art by Jeremy Biggers, which won a Folio: Eddie & Ozzie Award and the Dan Jenkins Medal for Excellence in Sportswriting. The story was also a finalist for a National Association of Black Journalists Salute to Excellence Award.
